Happy New Year
This time of year we all look ahead with a happy anticipation. Maybe that is really what hope is, a happy anticipation of good things to come! I am a goal setter and try to give myself an easy and an advanced goal to work toward. Personally, making small changes helps me to be motivated to achieve the bigger things on my list. Between now and April we will do the majority of our training here at County Wide. Learning something new is a great confidence booster but it also can be instrumental in keeping everyone safe. So all basics are covered as well as the latest industry changes. As an owner, there are meetings and expectations set by manufacturers for their products as well. Taking everything in and applying it to our individual company profile is what makes us different. I don't believe in selling just one brand. I believe in selling County Wide Service Company. We are really good at what we do because our people are really good at what they do and they care about the end results of their hard work. Everywhere I look I see people telling us how to make money. Whether it is on an infomercial, a best selling book or a slick salesmen guaranteeing he can increase your bottom sales dollar. Don't get me wrong, I want to make money too. But not because I've trained someone to be a good salesman. That is at the customer's expense. I want the customer to get the best quality job at a fair price and I want them to keep coming back and I want them to tell their friends and neighbors we can be trusted. Cheapest? Nope sorry, that will never be us. Middle of the road? Because of our size probably so. We train our folks to give options and facts. To answer the consumer's questions so they can make an educated decision. We have been here since 1960 and will continue to be here whenever the customer needs us. Fair, honest and always eager to work hard, that is how we are looking toward the new year. Hope to see you in 2012!
